Visit Planner
All the practical details you need for an unforgettable Petronas Twin Towers experience.

Tickets & Booking
The Skybridge + Observation Deck tour costs MYR 98 for adults (approx. USD 21), MYR 55 for children aged 3–12, and MYR 55 for Malaysian citizens with MyKad. Book online at least 2 weeks in advance during peak season (school holidays, December–January, Ramadan/Hari Raya period). Walk-up tickets go on sale at 8:30 AM but sell out quickly. The tour takes approximately 75 minutes including a multimedia presentation and visits to both the Skybridge (level 41–42) and Observation Deck (level 86). Bring valid photo ID for ticket verification.
When to Go
Open Tuesday–Sunday, 9 AM–9 PM (closed Mondays). The 9–10 AM slot offers the clearest views before tropical haze builds. The 6–7 PM slot captures golden-hour light and spectacular sunsets. After 7:30 PM, you'll see KL illuminated with the KLCC Park fountain show visible below. Quietest days are Tuesday–Thursday; weekends are busiest. Avoid the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Haji (towers closed). For photography, a clear morning after overnight rain produces the sharpest distant views.
Best Photo Spots
Ground level: the KLCC Park reflection pool (symmetric tower reflections, best at sunset). Elevated: SkyBar at Traders Hotel (33rd floor, cocktails with view). Panoramic: KL Tower observation deck (towers framed against the skyline). Urban: Saloma Link pedestrian bridge (dramatic perspective with highway). Night: Jalan P. Ramlee approach (both towers glowing). Drone photography is illegal within KLCC airspace — enforcement is strict with equipment confiscation and fines.
Getting There
By train: KLCC station on the Kelana Jaya LRT line exits directly into Suria KLCC's concourse (15 minutes from KL Sentral). By monorail: Bukit Bintang station, then walk via the covered elevated link through Pavilion KL (20 minutes total). By Grab: MYR 12–18 from KL Sentral; specify "Suria KLCC main entrance" drop-off. Driving: 5,000+ parking bays beneath the precinct, accessed from Jalan Ampang or Jalan P. Ramlee (MYR 5/hour). KLCC is also well connected by the GOKL free city bus (Green Line).
Rules & Etiquette
Personal photography welcome throughout the tour. No tripods, selfie sticks, or monopods inside the towers (safety/space). Backpacks larger than A4 size must be stored in lockers (MYR 5 refundable deposit). No food or drinks above ground floor. Smart-casual dress is appropriate — no swimwear, sleeveless tops, or very short shorts (this is a corporate building). The tour involves moderate walking and standing; comfortable shoes recommended. Wheelchair access is available throughout with advance notification.
Weather & Packing
Kuala Lumpur is tropical year-round: 27–34°C with 80% humidity. Afternoon thunderstorms are common (especially October–March) and can obscure Observation Deck views temporarily — they usually clear within 30–45 minutes. Pack light breathable clothing for outdoors and a light layer for interiors (aggressive aircon). Sunscreen and water are essential for KLCC Park exploration. An umbrella or rain jacket saves the day when afternoon showers arrive. Comfortable walking shoes are non-negotiable — the precinct is large and best explored on foot.
